I'm sure it would be good if the temperature was in the range of over 40 degrees. It's very thin and quite dense. I wouldn't call it comfortable. This provided very little neck protection. If you have a beard like me, you might miss it. I put it on for the first time this morning after the snow storm to clear my driveway. Temperatures were below freezing with light winds. In these conditions, the balaclava offered neither warmth nor protection from the wind. It might be better suited for protection in warmer times. Don't waste your time with returns. If you use it to protect your face when riding a bike or motorbike in good weather, it can be suitable for that purpose. Don't buy it for winter protection. Get a good fleece balaclava that hunters wear.
