🎧 zdyCGTime 3.5mm to 6.35mm Adapter - 5 Pack 3.5mm Mono Audio Male to 6.35mm Female Mic Plug Converter, 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch Review

Used on my field day club ham radio. Most operators bring their own headphones, so we have them handy. Very good quality and not too long to get in the way and the 1/4" plugs fit snugly into the socket.

I bought 5 of these. One had static electricity and the other quarter inch female thread would not engage. If you consider that I bought 5 of these and only 3 actually work, you have a 60% chance of getting a working product. I would recommend spending a little more for a higher quality part.

Surprisingly well done. The cable itself is above average and the connectors seem to be well made. Gold plating is consistent and provides excellent contact with no scratching noise when inserted or moved. My goal is mono (mono) listening using speech headphones with a 1/4" mono jack. I'll order a backup just in case.

The 1/4" jack doesn't hold the fork very well. The slightest pressure and it falls out. I have a piezo pickup on the guitar with a 1/8" connector, so I'll have to switch from it to a straight 1/4" standard guitar cable. Most good quality guitar cables are pretty strong, so this is a guaranteed disaster. If I use that live, I'll have to use black tape 1/ 4" connector before I dare to go on stage.

I have a nylon string guitar and bought a KNA NG-1 Acoustic Bridge pickup to play through the amp. Nothing heavy, not for concerts, street performances or church services - just for fun. The 1/8" male to 1/4" male cable that the cartridge comes with is strong and quite long BUT it has to be repeatedly removed and reinserted into the cartridge unless I would like the cord to be folded and tied somehow. on my guitar. The 6.35mm jack does not hold the plug very well. It falls out with the slightest pressure. I have a 1/4 inch piezo pickup on my guitar do you need to swap from that to a standard 1/4 inch guitar cable. The piezo pickup grips tightly to the 1/8" plug, but any movement of the end of the guitar cable and the plug slides right out. Most good quality guitar cables are pretty strong, so it's a guaranteed disaster. When using it live I have to use black tape to tie the 1/4" joint securely together…
