Great but difficult on Mac

Printer works great. However, the entry doesn't say that this only works on Windows. After contacting Zebra Support, they were able to install a driver that is not available on the Zebra website. After that it works great. It's very fast.

Pros
  • Easy to use: USB, Ethernet connectivity and compatible with media rolls with 1" core, 5" max diameter and 4.25" max width
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

A good printer with clear, detailed thermal printing.

This printer is larger than expected but prints well. I had a little problem installing all the software that created multiple drivers on my computer. In the end I uninstalled all the software and restarted and everything worked fine. I thought it included special software for adding logos and such, but I can't find or understand it. But I'm still happy with my purchase. I might learn more over time.

Pros
  • Thermal Transfer Technology: Requires thermal ribbon; can also print with direct thermal technology which requires direct thermal media but no ribbon
Cons
  • I will add later

Great but tricky start on Mac

Printer works great. However, the entry doesn't say that this only works on Windows. After contacting Zebra Support, they were able to install a driver that is not available on the Zebra website. After that it works great. It's very fast.

Pros
  • Office electronics
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

Rugged Label Printer

The desktop printer prints great labels, and the built-in Ethernet controller makes it less cluttered than connecting an external JetDirect to the device. It prints labels from Windows PCs and (if anyone is asking) IBM iSeries systems. My company has older models of this printer that are still working after 15 years, all in a dusty storage environment!

Pros
  • Label Printer
Cons
  • I'll be back

Pros
  • Printer and accessories
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models
