The processing was not there after a few times.

The processing isn't great and after several sessions of direct flash, bounce, scatter and scatter tests with the specular map I couldn't find any consistency with the results. Before the shoot, there was no way I could rely on the results.

not for professional photographers

ok i have a friend who bought this and he insisted it was great. sufficient light and speed for short-term use. HOWEVER, this flash will not stay attached to the top of the camera no matter how tightly you have it attached. I did a newborn session and put her in front of the camera and then took about 25 shots of the baby as I moved she fell. ! Thank god it didn't hit the newborn! So yes I would say if you just need something small this flash is for you.

Not impressed and sent back.

I was planning to use this flash with other wireless slave units. The first surprise was when I opened the box and saw that it came with a fabric type diffuser. The description says E-TTL. So it should either work on my Canon 5D or be connected as a wireless slave with the output controlled manually. I first installed it on a slave radio and it just burned and didn't respond to radio controlled manual adjustments, no matter what I did it was always hot. I hooked up the 430EX to make sure…
