Not much bamboo was damaged in the making of this pillow.

Good carpet, very cool even in summer. Calling it "bamboo" is a bit of a stretch, though. The label on the pad says the top of the pad is 65% polyester and 35% bamboo. Padding, bottom and skirt are 100% polyester. There isn't much bamboo.

Nice and Cooling Mattress Pad

My boyfriend and I were looking for a cooling mattress pad as it makes us sweat so much when we sleep. I had to keep washing the sheets with our old mattress pad because it always smelled so bad of his sweat. Now that we have this mattress topper, the sheets don't even stink. I would recommend it to anyone who sweats in their sleep.

Quick and Reliable Solution: Mattress Protectors and Mattress Protectors

I had a bad cold, so instead of coughing on my wife, I "slept" in the guest room. In fact, I hardly slept because the new foam mattress was very hot. Support? comfort? Of course. But every part of the body that touched the mattress began to sweat. Received this mattress topper yesterday and installed it. Test slept on it last night. Ideal. Like our main bed, our guest bed now has a cold-warm balance that calls for snuggling.

It's a mattress pad not a lining

When negative reviews say it doesn't add much softness it's because it doesn't mean it. This is a super soft mattress topper, not a mattress topper. Sure it has some fluff in it, but mostly it's just to keep you cool. I love it. I didn't want a ThinkPad pillow as I have a great mattress and didn't want to change the feel. If your mattress is too hard, get a latex or wool (or memory foam, if you prefer) pillow. . If you're looking for something that will protect your favorite mattress and keepโ€ฆ

Compared to a high quality mattress topper!

I sleep very warm at night and prefer to cool as much as possible (I live in Florida and keep the thermostat on 80 in the summer); I really like this mattress topper! I first bought a $160 pad from Bed Bath and Beyond and found it was just as cool at night. A more expensive pad will likely last a little longer, but it's a much better value and cools just as well! Although it only lasts 1/3 the time of more expensive pads, I saved money! I am recommending this to friends and family - they alsoโ€ฆ
