Does not meet expectations

This adapter disappointed me.While it claims to expand my computer's capabilities, it actually slowed down my system and caused it to crash multiple times. I will not be using this product again..

Great way to add a SATA port to your computer AIO

Bought to add an SSD drive to my AIO computer. The motherboard only has 2 SATA ports. I didn't want to lose the BD optical drive, so I decided to replace the MINI PCI-e wireless card with this card and plug the BD drive into one of the extra ports I now have from this little card. I then plugged in a USB WiFi dongle to replace the missing WiFi functionality. Worked like a champ. I now have a 1TB bootable SSD, a 2TB drive and a fully functional BD in my computer. Happy camper is here!

Pros
  • Gen1i, Gen1x, Gen2i, Gen2m, Gen2x and Gen3i support.
Cons
  • ill thought out
