The meter got stuck a little more than halfway up and I had to tap the top of it to get it off. Didn't want to mess with the return so I tried to fix it myself and ended up wrecking it. The bad thing is that there aren't many options for external counters on the market, so I think I'll buy another one and take a risk.

This is an amazing gauge. There is still room for improvement. The one I got had to be calibrated for zero and full scale, which didn't really matter until I tried to adjust the full scale setting and couldn't find the potentiometer. It was folded back during assembly and I had to remove the cover to bend it to be able to adjust it. There are no conditions for mobile use and no conditions for lighting. Overall this is a great counter, I will most likely buy a second one as a backup.

The meter arrived in a box with no padding and instructions. Before use it is important to zero the gauge using the screw on the front and set the full scale using the option on the radio and the screw accessible from the back of the gauge. These are easy tasks unless you have instructions, of course! Instructions for a similar meter are very helpful, look them up online.
