UFU! Terrible smell develops over time

After reading conflicting reviews I decided to give it a try. When it arrived I sniffed it. Very mild, slightly brightening scent. A few weeks later, a stray cat sprayed my screen door. A friend sprayed this thing. What a terrible stench! Pooh! It reminded me of insecticides. And it wouldn't go away. Every time my porch gets wet it always stinks. It gets on the soles of my shoes and stinks when I enter the house. My experience can explain the conflicting opinions about the smell. It seems to…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Not the best

Use in the office/studio, near rubbish bins and in poorly ventilated kitchens. The effect is excellent. It basically erases the smell of vegetable soil, beet sandwich, fried garlic, stewed lamb, roast meat, fried salmon, canned sardines in oil, etc. Some other reviews have complained about the chemical smell that remains and I absorb that smell, but I do doesn't matter. It also works well when I take out the trash. Works better than the non-potent Febreze odor eliminator they have long since…

Shortness of breath - not recommended

I have been using Zero Odor for many years. A few years ago I accidentally bought TWO large combo packs so I just went back down (finally!). I ordered a new bottle and the formula is VERY different. This new product caused both me and my cat persistent shortness of breath that lasted until I was finally able to remove it from the items/areas I was spraying. I have something like a travel bottle from my old order so I tested it again - no problem - it's definitely a new formula. I contacted Zero

This spray worked like a charm

I needed this product to get rid of the smoke smell. I left a pot of food on the stove and although the kitchen didn't catch fire, it smoked the whole apartment and hit EVERYTHING. I washed everything I could to get rid of the smell, all the bed sheets, coats, jackets etc. but there were some items I couldn't wash and wanted to try to get rid of the smell before dry cleaning some of them . This spray worked like a charm. I've tried Febreeze (unscented), a commercial solution called Odor X…

Bleach Scent

I bought this product about 3 years ago and it has worked really well. Spray a little and voila! no smell When spraying, there is no smell, no more smell. Mainly used in the bathroom. I ran out so bought more here at Revain. It's terrible. When I first used it, I knew it was different. It has its own smell of bleach or chlorine. It doesn't work at all. All that happens is the chlorine/bleach smell mixes with the original smell (the one I'm trying to remove) and both linger in the air. It…

Good temporary solution

We had terrible sweats over a cupboard soaking up the smell of rotting food when we were out of town (housewife left wet cat food to rot in a bin for 10 days). I tried everything I could find and finally (almost) eliminated the smell with this spray. Other products have an awful odor on their own or have done nothing to actually get rid of the stench. I found that if I sprayed this on the closet walls and closed the closet for a while the stench would go away. I desperately needed the charcoal…

Curious Chemist

I've just started using this product and it seems to be working well. I'll let other reviewers talk more about it. What I wanted to share is how it actually works and what it actually contains. The advertising and labeling is very vague as to the actual chemistry at work (molecules are used!). Being a curious guy I tried to research it but couldn't find any details. When I actually bought it, I noticed a couple of the patents listed on the back cover and started looking for them. I found this…

Love it -- Made with Ninja Fighting scent !

I have a Litter Breeze system for my cat box, with a pad at the bottom where the urine goes and hard clay pellets where the droppings stay on top. I like the box, it's easy to clean but it stinks because I don't change my pellets but maybe once or twice a year. I've tried Lysol, Clorox Anywhere, I've used charcoal bags, carbon air filtration systems and even UV based air sanitizers. Suffice it to say - not much really helped - I installed a cat door to the laundry room to keep it closed. Tried…
