I think these paint pens work fine. Though I've only ever tried one brand before. Just be careful and follow the directions and you shouldn't have a problem. Once you get them to work just pump down on them lightly the paint can come out pretty fast. If that happens I try to run the pen through the paint and even it out. It's nice that the box comes with free stencils in it too. I think the colors are nice. I don't know if they work on rock that well. I haven't tried enough to be able to tell…

I've never liked paint pens that require pushing down on the point to get flow. Inevitably the coverage is uneven. I knew what I was getting, so I got what I deserved, but I guess I hoped it'd work out better. The number of pens in the box for this price is a great value, and the coverage on glass is good. I hope that with practice I'll get better at getting a more even flow.

I was a little disappointed in these paint pens. The are very different from the ones I have purchased in the past by a different brand but decided to try these due to Prime Day Deals. I followed the directions provided on the packaging and the markers still were not as bright of a color as I was expecting. The colors are very dull and on the projects I was creating I needed very bright colors. Seems like these may be a little old as well due to the paint really not wanting to come to the front

I don't care very much for these. It is really difficult to shake them enough to keep the paint base and pigment combined. You can think that you have shook them enough, and they still will end up having paint come out in the beginning that is separated, dark and off-color. It takes a lot of playing around with them just to get them to flow for a moment, and then they stop flowing, and you have to start over again. You have to have a separate piece of paper or cardboard to use to dabbed the ink

These markers are very easy to leak gobs of ink and ruin your project. They have a hard plastic tip that does not allow for smooth application. And the cute little display box was ripped all the way down one side when it arrived . I was hoping that for nearly 50 dollars they would be better but I guess I'll stick to the sharpie paint markers they cost more but definitely worth it.

Some were great. Some were hard to get going a few leaked. The ones that worked worked well. Some have dried out. May not be as opaque as other paint markers.

I’m very pleased with this brand- no complaints what do ever. They write very smooth and work great on my painted rocks. Highly recommend!

I really like having a bigger variety of colors. I don't like that I could only find oil-based colors as my other paint pens are all acrylics and they don't mix well.Also, some of the colors have a lot of trouble flowing and don't work well. Especially one of my yellows and a pink. (I've only tested 12 out of 48 so far, and 2 of them have trouble.)Those that do work well are awesome, though!

I was surprised just how well these work. I first bought them to get in fine details that I couldn't do with a brush and liked them so much I started using them for other projects. I highly recommend these.

Only complaints are some mild tip-fraying after frequent use, and that the brown colors are borderline unusable. I think the formula might be thinner than the other colors, which causes them to leak uncontrollably even when you aren't pressing down.

While these colors are beautiful, the tops of the pens are not very secure, and the lids can be difficult to remove, which has resulted in the tops coming off with the lids and all the paint gushing out of the pens everywhere. They’re also very small. I do not recommend.

I love these oil painting tools. I recently needed something to make a long straight line on an oil painting and these worked great. There are enough colors that you can use them for many different parts of a painting. The oil flows out easy once you get them primed. Love that it has some metallic colors.

I was super excited about receiving these paint markers considering you don't find oil based extra fine tip as much. And they are easy to use they are very vibrant for most of the colors and they're easy to write with other than when you push down to get more ink it creates a giant puddle no matter how long you shake it or prep it or anything there's always a huge puddle which is a little bit disappointing cuz not only is it a waste of ink it can damage art work if you're not careful.

These are exactly what I was wanting.exactly as described and were in perfect condition. My family and I used these to decorate and make Christmas ornaments this past holiday. We used them on glass, plastic and wood. Great colors and very easy to use. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for paint markers.

I liked using these but I should’ve listened to the customers before buying these. When I wanted to draw, it bled and the paint stops in the process, making me pump it more.

These paint markers were awful. Whether they didnt let any paint through at all or let so much out at once that you had a massive puddle on your project.-I ordered these due to the bulk size and variety of colors offered but it ruined 2 of my projects when using them for the 1st time. Will not order again.2 stars given simply because of the volume of colors offered

I’ve used all kinds of different paint pens and not sure what I’m doing wrong with these ones but they do not consistently write, you have to press the tip and a blob of ink comes out after every line, and the flow is not consistent at all. Thought I was getting a good deal for the number of colors that come in this pack, but maybe not since they don’t work properly. Not even sure if they will let me return at this point. Maybe I just got a defective set or something.

Most colors work alright, but a handful of them are super watery and bleed even after following the enclosed directions to a T. For the price, not a bad choice.
