Zhiyun Smooth II Handheld Screens Warranty Review

Difficult to calibrate. There are practically no instructions. Calibration tools exist, but there are no instructions on how to use them. Can be calibrated manually or with a digital instrument. Haven't figured it out yet but other than that it works fine. There are three main settings on the joystick. Each works well for holding still at a point in space or moving around like you would. The stabilizer will enhance your videos.

I've been using this gadget for a while now and am still very impressed with it. Always striking and has made some great home videos that look better than you would normally expect from a phone camera. Highly recommended. I'm also glad I chose II over C as I think the extra features made it more enjoyable to use. This thing hit the ground a few times and wasn't that gentle with it, but it keeps walking like a beast! Definitely worth it.

Overall great fit and finish. The block will not fold for storage with the counterweight installed. This is a minor issue, but it takes longer to get the device working after it's been taken out of storage. The device is easy to use. The mobile app is a little clunky and lacks some valuable features (like time-lapse photography), but you can certainly use whatever camera/video app you prefer. You just don't get Bluetooth integration and camera control via buttons on the gimbal. never mind

Thing works and works well - when it works. Unfortunately, there is simply no reliability - not even for a holiday trip. Forget professional use. I've balanced mine absolutely perfectly and so far the unit just turns on and crashes regularly. I changed the battery, updated the firmware, calibrated, etc. Didn't help. So this is an updated review as my first experience with stabilizers was not good. Put it on "a bad apple". I immediately notified the seller as it had only been a month from receipt to the gimbal's death. First of all I take my hat off to the seller, communication is +. I really liked the quality of this gimble. Worked for 9 months and stopped working for unknown reasons. A motor gets hot, as does the button around the switches.
