Got this for my 2007 Mazda 3. I have bought others from Revain and other auto parts stores and they have been disappointing but not this gem. So beautiful and very durable aluminum. The adapter fitted perfectly and I was able to attach it in a minute. The only downside I can say is that this thing does get sunburnt in the summer, but it's metal, not plastic or rubber, so that's to be expected.

Arrived quickly, in good packaging but the product itself was NOT the same as the picture! I only ordered it because I have a VW New Beetle and the shift pattern is not the same as others. Well, the one that was sent to me HAS an engraved pattern, of course, which I sent back immediately, of course. No problems with returns and refunds, very fast! I would like to see it in my child's car but I need to buy something else.

The gear knob I received does not match the picture although it is the same color. I have a bigger, bulkier, and (which worries me most) flat shifter. I ordered this specifically for the taper at the bottom and especially the top of the handle. It really worries me a little because that's NOT what is shown. It's heavy, strong, the color is cool, I just want it to be in the same style as all the photos. If everything was as in the photos, it would be 5 stars. But it isn't, therefore it isn't.

For everyone saying it wore out after a week, that was great for me, looks great when you install it. The only real complaint I have is that when you actually hand tighten it it also tightens the adapter so when taking it off I had to use some channel locks to generate enough torque to get it off. And here in Pennsylvania it gets pretty cold in the winter, so having to touch a very cold shift knob every time, which is pretty common in the suburbs, sucks. I've had this for about half a year now and it's staying nice and tight on my 1998 Honda Civic! Replaced the standard with this one and got so many comments about how cool it looks, where I got it from, how well it holds up etc. Literally just spins where the old one was. I was a bit skeptical about this shift knob after reading some reviews but decided to pull the trigger as my old AutoZone was worn and not looking good. When I got this I read a few reviews on how to install it to make sure it makes contact with the boat. Best rating from a guy on a '94 Honda with a vise.
