Zhongyi Mitakon Speedmaster Thirds Cameras Review

This is fantastic value for money. Wide open, the lens is quite sharp. It has solid build quality. If you're familiar with manual lenses, you can't beat this one.

Have this with connectors on the front or back. upset. Nowadays I can find out if the lens hood is optional but not the lens caps :-( Strange, this lens can't be mounted on the original M5/Oly. G7.. Rings work smoothly. Bokeh is ok.

Mathematically that could be 0.95. In terms of transmission, this is 1.4. Compared to my old Nikkor 50mm 1.4 and Olympus 12-40 2.8. Compared to other 25mm 0.95s, it is too small for 0.95s. With 0.95 (T1.4) very soft and very high color rendering. I wouldn't pay more than 100€ for this lens.

Excellent lens. Period. Some issues but nothing that's clearly negative. I got that and Rock 35 for the same price as Voight. I've seen comparisons on YouTube and my own eyeball tells me it's wide open as hell. Made a horror movie and used it 95% of the time. If I had to choose one lens it would be 18-35 sigma and there would probably be 2 of 30 sigma.

First, the glass is impressive, very sharp when closed, but when buying I want to know about F0.95 and F1.4. I will compare vs Nokton 25mm and 17.5mm equivalent to F0.95. Forget the Nokton 25/0.95, the Mitacon lens is much sharper and has a lot of contrast in comparison - the colors are great, albeit warmer. Nokton 25mm is only optically inferior. Nokton 17.5mm is also worse in width (not only in width, somewhere up to 1.7), in width in the middle of the Mitacon it's just much sharper and much…
