This is my favorite water pen. I have other Furetake water pens but the Furetake Zip is the best of them all. Ultra-fine brush with just the right hardness for ultimate control. The water flow is perfect and reliable, which is very important when trying to paint a small area. Here's just an example of what you can do with this brush and some Inktense blocks and pens.

Same brush as SM Kuretake Fude

I wasn't aware that this pen is from the same manufacturer as the Kuretake Fude Water Brush Pens when I ordered. This small zigzag lead has the same brush tip as the Small Kuretake Fude. It's a great small and thin lure, one of my favorites, but the Kuretake has a longer chamber which not only holds more water but is also a bit easier to hold (at least for me). It's also like a dollar cheaper. Just wanted to post the info in case anyone else is looking for something smaller than Kuretake. It's…

The bristles broke after just a few uses.

Worked great but didn't last long. After using it with a brush for a few weeks, the bristles are wearing out and I can no longer get an accurate point. Watercolors also tend to get sucked into the camera. This makes cleaning difficult. I have older Pentel water brushes and they still hold up a fine tip even after years of use. I bought these because I was looking for shorter bristles. The long bristles of Pentel brushes make it difficult to write with a brush. I've been looking for better…

The best water brush pen I've ever had

This is the very first water brush pen I have ever owned and having bought several other brands which rank very highly here at Revain I have to say this pen remains my favourite. i love the tip I used it with watercolors in a postcard sized coloring book and it did a great job with the smallest and largest areas. I also used it to paint stamped images before investing in some quality watercolor brushes and continue to use it when I'm too lazy to get my actual watercolor brushes out. This is a…
