Zilla Night Black Incandescent Bulb Review

These bulbs have been good for my reptiles and I as they don't give off as much light as red bulbs, my animals and I can sleep at night and they stay warm.

The first bulb blew out the moment I turned it on. The second bulb worked for about a week and a half and actually exploded and broke. 3rd lamp lasted 4 weeks

My hermit crabs need a dim light to keep the tank wet and it works wonders! I liked that it came in a pack of three, so I didn't have to worry about new bulbs for a long time!

Two weeks of night use only and one bulb burned out. Not a good value at all. The last bulbs I had lasted at least a few months. . .it's garbage for some reason. I won't buy again unless it's the best they do.

Terrible quality. The order came with 3 bulbs, one of which didn't work for more than a week and didn't burn out. What a rip off. This item is listed as cheaper but has become more expensive. Stick with Zoo Med lighting. They stand by their wares.

Great lightbulb! Having tried other brands I will not use anything other than Zilla. These lamps are reliable and last longer than other brands. I was also surprised at the good price I paid for it. Based on my experience with some of the other lightbulbs in my dragon enclosure, I'm extra cautious about buying lightbulbs that are safe and won't explode.

Great price and my hermit crabs love them. The only problem is that one of the bulbs burned out when I turned on the lamp. So far the second is working fine. Overall, this type of lamp is great for keeping my hermit crabs warm (I also have a heater under my tank). Lightbulbs tend to burn out after about three months of continuous use. I have a feeling they should last a little longer.

I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because bulbs that WORK seem to be of good quality; at least better than Fluker's Blacklight night lamps. Received on time but took over 2 business days which is typical for Prime shipping. The price was good for 3 bulbs but as only 2 of them arrived working I am a little concerned. I've tried requesting a refund for just the broken bulb because my lizard is currently using one of the working bulbs, but that's not possible yet. Maybe this review will help?
