not reusable for kitchen and dining room

This is not a reusable vacuum cleaner unless you cut off the bottom and make a smaller bag, but it is really handy to open and reuse as a simple but strong zip bag.

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • periodicity

Vacuum bags: Small appliances

Funny. I ordered them by mistake but they fit my nephew's vacuum sealer and I liked them better than the version I wanted! Eh, now I need a new vacuum sealer! LAUGH OUT LOUD

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Can cause damage

Doesn't work at Foodsaver retailers

Bags have more material on one side than the other. It's very hard to tell, but it makes the bags almost impossible to use with food seals. The bags give me a headache and unfortunately I have to return them. However, pint-sized bags from the same company worked well.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • It's ok

Works well with CAMBER vacuum sealer

We have a conventional food sealer and a vacuum sealer. I have to say they work better in a vacuum chamber sealer than in a regular food saver. Although regular vacuum chamber bags are a lot cheaper, for what I seal in these bags, having a zip at the top for resealing is good!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Negative result present

Casual Design: Kitchen & Dining

I love the convenience of using a ziplock bag to marinate the contents after taking them out of the freezer. However, these packages are not sealed. The front of the bag is slightly wider than the back. This will create a crease in the front when you try to seal the bag. The vacuum sealer will not seal if the bag has wrinkles. I couldn't use them.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Repair

Not too sure: vacuum bag

I have a small canned ham company. I bought these bags because the customer reviews got the price right. I have to say they are very durable BUT. Approximately 20% of the bags failed until approximately half an inch was cut from the bottom. A third of these still don't work after trimming and should be discarded. Not only is this a cost issue, but it certainly delays the longest part of the slicing and packaging development. Probably won't order again.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • So so

Good quality freezer bags that go well with Foodsaver units

We ordered these bags to freeze groceries for my husband's parents. They are ideal for freezing meals for one or two people. And they are of excellent quality - durable plastic that can withstand the cold in the freezer. We use them with Foodsaver sealing machines and they do an excellent job. We also use bags to break down large meat purchases at Costco or in store by amount for our family. The zipper allows us to open the bag and return unused portions to the freezer. Will definitely order…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Very expensive

Zip bags don't seem to work either

This time I accidentally ordered zip bags. I buy and will continue to buy bags from this brand because I am very happy and think they offer value, especially compared to brand name ("recommended") bags which cost a lot more and do the same thing. But ziplock bags don't seem to seal during sealing, and I've had multiple instances of freezer vacuum loss and freezer burn. On the ones that worked (still most) I could never get the zipper to work properly and ended up cutting off the end with…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Sad equipment

Not as shown in the picture.

I ordered these packs because Foodvac packs were out of stock. I chose them carefully, expecting my label to cover the "writer label" as I am making jerky for the farmers market. I was very disappointed to see that the label is not in the middle of the box as shown in the description but on the bottom where it is sealed. Now I have to try to figure out how to make them presentable with some creativity. I've compared their thickness to the ones I've bought in the past and found that they're much

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Volume
