My daughter is 5'1" and weighs 86 lbs and needed panties for gymnastics. She chose this one. We originally bought a 13 year old side. Had to go back and go with the next smaller size. (Loved them so much we bought them again!) The smaller ones are still a bit big but work. Gymnasts need them to match their uniforms. You see nothing. Liked the color choices.

Very transparent. I bought these to keep my daughter's butt and legs from dangling during class, but they are so see-through it almost didn't matter. Maybe it's the color? I bought him silver. It doesn't help that the legs are baggy! Edit: I bought a black pair to wear with another swimsuit. The fit appears to be a little more comfortable so her shorts don't move and don't show off as much. They are not as transparent as silver ones. Much happier with black shorts!

Product can't tell if it's male or female. There is a difference in the sports world. When I bought them it said "Girls" and when I got a notification that they were delivered it said "Baby!" Talk about a full blown panic attack on my part! Size 3/4 is too big for my 6 year old. The design is definitely for a boy. My description refers to black. And they are not shiny like in the description and in the picture. They look like the bottom of a cheap bathing suit you can buy at the dollar store…
