Well, at least it was inexpensive.

My 24 pin extension needed to route the cable a bit and that would probably be fine. I didn't have it taut, but maybe there was some pressure on it and one of the wires came loose from the metal shell/housing that plugs into the plastic connector on the end. So the specified length was correct; the wires were soft and not hard (which I appreciate); Plugs fit well. Basically, my low score came from a possible flaw in the way the pens were used

Pros
  • 12 in. (30 cm), 1007 18AWG Tinned copper wire, high conductivity, corrosion and oxidation resistance.
Cons
  • Long delivery

Saved the day! The best of computers and accessories

Bought a new power supply for my Dell computer and the wiring harness wasn't long enough! This completely solves the problem!

Pros
  • An extension cable connects your computer's power supply to the motherboard.
Cons
  • Hard to tell

WRONG COLORS on internal components

*Maybe* I can extend the ATX cable. However, if you need cabling that matches the ATX color scheme, look elsewhere. The wire seems thinner than a high quality ATX power cable. The insulation on the wire says it's 18 AWG, but my Klein wire strippers say it's closer to 20 AWG. They go in the trash. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Pros
  • 24 pin male to 24 pin female, plug and play, convenient and fast. Safety buckle on the fork to prevent accidental falls.
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Non-18AWG Indoor Power Supply Wire

Attention: The cable cross-section of the ATX extension you received does NOT correspond to that indicated on the cable sheath. This can cause the wire to overheat and cause a fire. 18 AW is written on the wire jacket ("G" is missing). When a pair of wires came loose from the connector, I noticed that the wire gauge was nowhere near 18AWG. Glad it happened before I installed it. The second photo shows a real 18 AWG cable from an ATX power supply.

Pros
  • The wire jacket is made of PVC with flame retardant insulation, safer.
Cons
  • thin
