Not perfect but helpful

As with the duvet, I don't like the limited color options. I'm always hot when I sleep, even in the Midwest. I've used it day and night and have found the fabric to be cool to the touch throughout the day. I slept through the night, which is rare, but when I woke up I was warm, so I wasn't as cold as I expected. I opened my neck, foot and foot and cooled down pretty quickly. Also not thrilled that it needs to be hand washed so you basically have to buy the duvet cover separately to keep it nice

I have incredibly bad insomnia - or should I say WHAT now that I have this weighted comforter. for which you need a pretty decent night's sleep and energy to get through the day. Which isn't entirely doable with anxiety and insomnia. I accepted Ambien but didn't want to rely on it so I bought it. It's cool, soft, extremely durable and well made. I love that this duvet stays cool all night. That 15lb is enough for me, although my weight suggests a 20lb blanket. But since it's the size of a Thanksgiving turkey, I didn't want that much weight because I'm older and not very strong. I am a restless sleeper and find it difficult to toss and turn. One of the "coolest " blankets, but weighted blankets just aren't for me.

This is the fourth weighted blanket I have tried. This is definitely the best cooling I've ever tried with bamboo material and bamboo duvet cover. I really like the weight, 20lbs, but I just can't stay calm at night with all that weight and no airflow. Even my fan just isn't delivering enough airflow. I envy those who can sleep with a weighted duvet, but that just doesn't work for me as I need more airflow under the duvet. There's really nothing wrong with this comforter, but without airflow…
