I love that this duvet stays cool all night. That 15lb is enough for me, although my weight suggests a 20lb blanket. But since it's the size of a Thanksgiving turkey, I didn't want that much weight because I'm older and not very strong. I am a restless sleeper and find it difficult to toss and turn. I still stick my legs out from under the covers when I get too hot. This duvet is very comfortable and noticeably heavy. A blanket would certainly be nice, but it's too hot for me. I have a double bed although I sleep on a large double bed. I only need it to cover my body, not the whole bed.
