1 of 2 item not working Returned for exchange, again 1 of 2 not working. Go somewhere else for a fancy pet store Revain lamps seem useless.

Great for box turtles!

Ordered several of these and they continue to work GREAT considering they work 12+ hours a day on a timer and still last 4-6 months! Our box turtle seems to like them too!

Pros
  • This is amazing

Excellent Bearded Dragon Bulbs

I use these bulbs for my bearded dragons and have always been happy with the quality and durability of the bulbs. I have recommended Reptisun bulbs to everyone I know who has reptiles. They are the best I have found and they even withstand my cats knocking over lamp housings!

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • No Instructions

Lamps burn out quickly

Lamps do not burn out quickly. I bought 2 packs in July, one burned out a day before I could send it back but wasn't sent, then the second bulb only lasted a few months. I accidentally bought it again, the 1st bulb didn't last 25 days, the second bulb broke when I opened it. These will be sent back.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Brings my houseplants to life

To be honest we didn't buy them for reptiles. We put them in our living room to maybe get a little extra vitamin D in our locked state. But they seem to work! The plants they have next have perked up and seem to be loving the light too. In addition, they can be screwed perfectly into our normal living room lamp. You look good to me!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • A few cons

Perfect for my purpose

I found them a bit long to mount my dome on the terrarium. so i haven't used it for a while. In the end I decided to just hang the lights up and then it worked and yes they seem great. My reptiles hated being taken out and placed in the sun to bask. That way, they should get the right spectrum they need without heartache, so to speak. yes i am happy with these

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Fits

Recycled Lightbulbs

I bought these for my rescued bear cub, these are my favorite lightbulbs. However, I received this package and as soon as I took it out of the yellow envelope it was in, I found that the package was already open and the boxes were already open. There are small stains on the lamps as if they had already been used. UV radiation wears out over time. I can't say how long they run. Looks like my kites will have to go another day without UVB. :(

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Short life and other issues

Each bulb only lasted 2 months (or a little less) and the last one literally burned out, hissing and smoking. I was close by when I heard crackling noises coming from my aquarium. I looked back and saw the bulb flash and breathe its last, making a pop and pop and smoke billowing out of the hood. Not only will I not be buying them again because they only lasted 8 weeks, but the smoking I observed when the lights went out gives me safety concerns.

Pros
  • Can be oriented both vertically and horizontally
Cons
  • Will write later

Great seller was very interested in my satisfactory!

. Beautifully packaged and I was very impressed when I received an email from the seller thanking me for choosing them to purchase my product. I'm just starting out with reptiles and hope to purchase more products from them in the future. I only wish I had found them sooner before I bought all my stuff in advance. These bulbs were in urgent need of replacement because my light went out! Thanks for the personal communication with the buyer. I will definitely tell my friends and family.

Pros
  • Uses special UV transmissive quartz glass for maximum UV penetration.
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled.

NOT CORRECT? Or just a divorce?

I bought these specifically for the trusted Zoo Med brand. Very disappointed with the quality and durability. I put in the first bulb and it blew out in less than 6 weeks. I thought maybe it was an accident so I exchanged it for the second one in the package. The same story - after 6-7 weeks it burned down. I'm worried it's fake or something like that because I bought the exact lamp model at a local pet store with the same lighting scheme in the same lamp and it took 9-10 months. I do not…

Pros
  • 10% UVB yield and 30% UVA yield
Cons
  • boring packaging
