Wiggle port connection

You will need to wiggle the connection in the surface port to ensure it connects/lights up. Although not too annoying. does the job.

Works great as a power adapter for Surface Pro 3. USB charging port is a nice plus. Update - sometimes it seems to get pretty hot.

Works exactly like the original

I had to replace the original power supply which I accidentally threw away when I threw away all my old systems. I sold the Pro 3 to a friend and then discovered I didn't have an AC adapter - shame on me! She is happy with her new system and I have more space in my office.

No problems so far, best in chargers and adapters

I've been hesitant to order another manufacturer's power adapter for my Surface Pro 4 because I've heard horror stories about problems with other adapters. I'm glad I read the reviews on this adapter and decided to follow the general consensus: this thing works, and it works well. No problem after 2 months and much better than OEM adapter.

Noisy but works well with chargers and adapters

It charges my surface just like the original. But I have it on the nightstand by the bed, and when the Surface loads, there's a sound coming out of the box. The noise gets a little louder when I'm actively using my Surface. It's barely noticeable when there's background noise, and I'm sure a person over 60 probably won't even hear it. But nonetheless it is remarkable.

Does the job and is a fraction of the price of the original charger

I've had it for over a year and despite very heavy use I've never had a problem. The cable that connects the charger to the Surface doesn't seem very sturdy, but there are still no breaks in the connectors that happened with the original charger. The only downside is that sometimes the light on the computer connector does not light up when plugged in. It is charged but not visible in the light. It just needs to be reconfigured. But that's a small issue that I can live with, especially for the…
