Nice box for a small alarm panel. I had to drill some holes

I have this to hold the circuit board in the alarm cabinet The cover attaches to reliable latches and is a strong design. For my application, I had to drill several holes in strategic places. There are no knockouts for this, but it was good for me. I can't say anything about the weather resistance as I use it indoors.

Works great and lots

Now I have two of these by the pool and they both work great. They seal well and definitely keep water out. The picture shows a unit with a Z-Wave relay to control my pool's pumps. From the bottom I made a larger passage for the conduit where the power cords connect and also drilled two small holes for the buttons on the side. No water comes in, everything works. Waterproof, airtight, dust and dirt repellent - I'm the proof myself!

This thing looks like a mini Fort Knox! I am very impressed. I'm going to use it to store large batteries for my outdoor weather station so I don't have to go out and change AA cells every few weeks through drifts or whatever. I think the only unknown at the moment is how UV and sunlight resistant it will be. Otherwise if I make a good seal where the wire comes out of the box it shouldn't be impervious to anything.
