These containers will keep food in the fridge as fresh as the day I bought it for 28 days. It has reduced my products to the point of going bad. Would give it 5 stars but if you stack containers or put other things on top you have to be careful when removing those items. I accidentally pressed the seal lightly and let some air into the reservoir. Lesson learned, now I'm more careful.

I am very happy with this purchase. Borosilicate containers and baby containers are very easy to keep clean. Food seems to stay fresher longer as claimed by the manufacturer, although I dare not insist. Plastic bags are very handy for storing bread in the freezer and keeping sliced cheese fresh. Sometimes the zipper breaks on one side, which is a shame.

You'd think spending $29.95 on a glass storage jar would last you well over two months. We have always hand washed the plastic lid and washed the glass container in the dishwasher. Two months after purchase, the plastic cover broke, most likely due to the inability to withstand the pressure of the vacuum. The return window is only one month. We will not buy another Zwilling product due to poor warranty policy. Now I understand why the warranty is only one month.

I'm a fan of containers. I have bought all types of containers over the years. Glass will always be my method of choice and when I saw it I knew I had to have it. update After another lid cracked I contacted Zwilling customer service and they sent me two new full packs without returning the old ones. Excellent customer service. Really like these. A rechargeable vacuum pump is essential (for a proper seal) as the vacuum pump removes any unwanted air that can accelerate spoilage of the stored product.
