this doesn't work for 10-12awg

I couldn't get it to replace 3M. Look at the piece of metal. It will not connect properly. Most likely cut because it's too narrow for 10-12 AWG. The one below is the 3M model.

Pros
  • wiring and connector
Cons
  • something else

Not working properly

Go through 15 to get 10 to work, not go through 10 calibration caps folded every time. At least I had 50 grand, which was good, actually better than Home Depot if you do the math. I have 20 left, maybe this walled car wire wrap.

Pros
  • Clamps
Cons
  • No power

Don't waste your money

I bought these for connecting 12 gauge wires. They are designed for 10 and 12 gauges. Tried different connection methods with different pincer configurations. Only 1 out of 5 worked. And I think it was an accident. I went back to the tried and tested method of wiring wire nuts or plugging straight into an outlet etc. It works every time. Don't waste your money on these connectors.

Pros
  • industrial electrics
Cons
  • unreliable
