Zyliss Jewel Interlocking Corn Holders Review

They're good while they last but we've had 3 breaks recently and haven't used them long or often. The translucent plastic at the base of the handle cracks and the metal teeth break out of the handle. Rinsing in the dishwasher may be to blame, but it appears to have been due to the teeth being pressed into the hard bars. As I really like that they are easy to use and safe and compact to store I might try the opaque version to see if the plastic is stronger before switching to another brand.

These are excellent holders. They're big, very strong, pretty sharp, and more importantly, they're very easy to use, clean, carry, and store. The large handles allow those with small hands or log-like fingers to grab and enjoy the corn. interruption. They showed no wear after prolonged use with each dishwashing. One of those little things in life that work well. Convenient size, beautiful translucent colors, comfortable to hold. The pins are stainless steel (will not rust) and are lockable for storage. I bought the Zyliss corn holders because of the ingenious design that allows the two ends of a pair to fit inside each other for storage. This is a great feature! I no longer have to pierce my hand when reaching into the drawer with dishes. Besides, who wants to eat corn on the cob with cowherds or flamingos or dancing elephants or something?! They do what they're supposed to do, they make holding the corn on the cob easier. I love the big pens, they are great for both adults and kids. I put them in the top rack of the dishwasher with no problems. I took off one star for the packaging. Each of the 8 parts is individually attached to the box. Trying to get a side of my scissors between the tight strings to cut them was difficult. I was having such a hard time that some of the holders got scratched when I took them out of the box…
