Review on Centoco 900-106 Elongated Wooden Toilet Seat, Heavy Duty Molded Wood With Centocore Technology, Bone by Tiarik Gonzalez

So far, so good. Only been a few days. Some complain about this not being a wooden seat. If one reads the description, it's a wood CORE with polypropylene surface. Had some trouble installing the rubberized gaskets between the hinges and toilet surface. They were a little warped, no doubt from the molding and would not stay inserted so I could flip the seat and install. Had to use some scotch tape to hold them fully against the hinges, then slip the tape out after lightly tightening the hinge down (leave the end of the tape out and folded over so it's not sticky and can be used as a pull tab. Seems to be holding well. No apparent defects that some have experienced. Will be back and edit review if problems within a year.
