I can't gush about these enough. I was working on a jewelry project with some chain that needed to be cut. My previous jewelry wire cutters would smash the tiny chain links but not actually cut through them. Also my previous cutters didn't have a fine enough tip to get at the smallest chain links. Out of desperation, I ordered these. And they were perfect. They can get into those tiny spaces, even for chain links less than 2 mm in diameter. They cut the chain instead of smashing it. You don't have to use a ridiculous amount of force. I think they sped up my pace on the project by a factor of about 5. The handles are easy to grip, even if you have very small hands like I do.They have a warning on the handles to use safety goggles. That is not a bad idea, because little bits do go flying. Also if you are cutting a short length off of something (like the aforementioned chain), make sure you have ahold of the end, because a couple of my bits of cut chain went flying and got lost.
