When the first battery (the one that came with it) only lasted 3 weeks I figured it was just a bad battery, wrong brand. I installed a new Duracell and everything worked. A month later I found that this battery was dead too. Maybe it was just an old battery, I wasn't sure how old it was. I've played this game too long for a sane person. When I decided to test it out and see how long fresh Duracell alkaline batteries would last, I was surprised they lasted about a week. The keyboard was and is rarely used so I wasn't sure when it worked or if it worked. Usually the neighbor who took care of my house discovered them by visiting my house while I was away. The latest new battery didn't power the keyboard at all. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
