This is a nice, inexpensive ROS good for typical household sanding projects. I like that it comes with a nice long cord, decent dust collection (bag and adaptor for your shop dust collection system), and plenty of 5" sanding disks in 5 different grits. The operation is dead simple, with a sealed on/off switch and a 6 speed rotating dial (both easy to use with gloves on).The sanding operation works perfectly, and has strong action even below maximum settings. It made quick work of the flaky paint on a small tabletop and left it nice and smooth. It takes a little strength to control it, but that's typical of a ROS.It's also fairly light, compact, and quiet as power tools go. The cord is long (though you might still need an extension cord), and comes with a velcro tie wrap.Overall, a winner for an inexpensive ROS.
