My only real problem is that it is not as transparent as I would like. Basically I have to shine a light to get an indirect backlight to see if there is a filament in the tube, but it's an improvement over what I had before (matte black) and it works well. I bought a size larger than I need. , after buying another product that was technically the right size but had such high friction that I didn't think it would fit for 3D printing filament (to clarify, I'm using 1.75mm filament with a hose advertised as ID 3 mm). I never expected the OD of this tub to fit my 3D printer, so I just cut an old filament tubing guide about 2 inches long, put that tubing in, and then used heat shrink tubing to make a semi-permeable connection. works perfectly.
