Review on DEWALT DCS356B 20V Max XR Oscillating Multi-Tool - Variable Speed (Tool Only) by Mateusz Michalak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

Surprisingly, the price tag is lower than the previous model DCS355, which is without a three-position vibration limiter. Buyers thinking about purchasing once again should be reminded. This tool is for small work - finishing and inaccessible places for a jigsaw and angle grinder, they cannot cut firewood, dissolve along the board, dismantle a wooden shed and sand a wooden bath. The multitool is an auxiliary tool and will NOT replace an angle grinder, chain saw, circular saw, reciprocating saw, or even a jigsaw.

Pros
  • DEWALT DCS356N BC36C Very light and comfortable tote. I tried from different brands, I was more devolted because of the pistol grip and the smooth adjustment of the oscillation frequency by pressing a key. For other manufacturers, the grip on the cylindrical body, like at 125 LM, is inconvenient for me on multi-cutters, as well as a separate adjustment. The combination of these two nuances is not enough control for me. In such a tool, for small and delicate work, control is more important than when working with an angle grinder. Because for me this tool is very good.
Cons
  • I did not find any flaws, I knew what I was taking. Is that a purely aesthetic quibble. Why do you need to paint a plastic snap-in lever to look like metal? It was impossible to leave black as on a similar instrument dewalt from the atomic series? Painted plastic under metal, this is in the worst traditions of cheap, basement Chinese. This is the very rare case in which it was possible to save money and it would only be better. Well, okay, it does not affect the work! But the esthete in my soul is righteously indignant. :)))
