Chrome vanadium finish looks good. Tools are laser etched with the mm size on every wrench end, both sides. One side is labeled with the brand, the other side is labeled with "chrome vanadium".The carrying case is a semi-flexible plastic. The set is very complete. 8mm is surprisingly common so I wanted that small size.So far they've been OK, but the ratcheting mechanism feels inconsistent across different wrenches. The socket has some axial play, and the ratcheting sound varies from low-pitched, very "thunk-Y", to a not-so-tactile, high-pitched "click".If one fails I'll update this review. If there's no update, then no news is good news.
