Good replacement for the original FTDI cable
Pretty nice cable, similar to FTDI USB to TTL cable. The only significant difference is that the USB-A connector has a longer shaft that accommodates the circuit board with the components. I was able to modify this cable with a thin 0.1mm wire to short RTS to CTS so I could use the cable for a dedicated handshake application. I have already bought two and plan to buy more in the future!

- FTDI USB-TTL 3V3 6 foot serial cable (6 outputs) provides access to Tx, Rx, RTS#, CTS#, VCC (5V) and GND (power line provides 5V and data signal) is at level 3.3V)

- Doubtful purchase for the elderly
