Review on 🚰 Hansgrohe 88624000 Pull-Out Hose: Small Chrome Kitchen Faucet Accessory for Enhanced Convenience by Doug Booth

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice OEM part, expensive

I was very upset to find water leaking from under the sink from a $550 Hansgrohe faucet installed in 2014. The inner hose of the stainless steel braided line is unscrewed. The hose to the detachable atomizer leaked at the kink every time the atomizer was used (see video). Hansgrohe customer service wasn't responding so I figured I'd have to fix the problem and it was probably out of warranty. You can't just buy parts from Hansgrohe and I found some non-OEM replacement hoses at Revain that are all plastic, but figured I could save 7 more years from the original part. This kit makes replacing your hose pretty easy, right down to the tapered plastic piece designed to help a new home get through the faucet. I did this in about 30 minutes, trying to clean up the old dirt as I went. I also chose to fix the hose under the sink in such a way that the bend radius remains large when the atomizer is pulled out. In the past, the hose would kink at the junction of the rigid metal connector with the flexible hose where the leak occurred. This is a good product and not at all necessary for such an expensive faucet.
