Well worth the money.
This plane replaces a Stanley I recently bought. The Stanley was not too expensive, but even at the low price it was overpriced. Nothing was flat, true or suggested any quality control was observed. The Woodstock on the other hand was more expensive, but worth it. Everything the Stanley lacked, the Woodstock had in spades. Nicely finished, true, flat, and comfortable in the hand. No lapping required. Highly recommended.
