They seem OK but the cutting surfaces cross while the handles are still far apart, so you have to use 2 hands to cut (!) Kind of a major flaw for a small cutter that is basically a wire cutter. For bolt cutters or large wire rope shears you expect to use 2 hands, but not at this size.

I bought these to cut 1/8 inch stainless steel wire I bought from the same company. They worked great and seamlessly cut through the wire. They are made real well and heavy duty. I would definitely recommend these if you don’t want a wire cutter that is to big and bulky. They fit in your hand real well.

I like how easily they squeeze to cut, but the blade is shaped in such a way that I can't get to some of the things I want to cut or flush to an edge.

The steel this cutter is made of is not of sufficient quality to cut large quantities of springy steel. Only use on soft, annealed steels, and weaker materials. Nippers immediately began to crumble and decay under the stressful load of steel after only about 300 cuts through 0.9mm stainless wire - roughly enough cuts to make about 15 sq inches of chainmail. I am very pleased with the heavy duty wire cutters that I purchased. The cutters seem to be a quality product and do exactly what it's described to do. The tool does not make a clean cot on 1/8 7x7 steel cable. Leaves loose strands which make it difficult to thread tthrough aluminum tandem crim sleeves.

I mostly do bicycle cable and cable up to 1/8" these cutters do that stuff just great, no frays nice and even. I can see them doing thicker cable up to the rated thickness.They feel well made and after all the times I have used them no dulling has occurred.I think these are a good alternative for people that don't want to spend top dollar on the much more expensive ones especially if not used on an everyday all day basis.Something too note the first pair I received was used and visibly damaged…

Worked well on 2 projects. One was installation of new bike cables. Seems sturdy enough. Too early to tell whether they’ll last.
