Algone Large Aquarium Water Clarifier and Nitrate Remover: Achieve Crystal Clear Water! Review

This stuff works great. It expands as impurities are removed and can become slimy, but that's okay, it does the job. Removes a large amount of nitrates. My nitrates were high, but after a few weeks of use they were almost gone. It didn't affect my fish, invertebrates or coral. This product should not be missing in any pool!

This product is amazing. I had a lot of trouble maintaining nitrate levels in my 55 gallon tank. I'm well planted, I don't overfeed and I don't overstock. I finally decided to test my tap water and was shocked to learn that my faucet was running water with 20ppm nitrate. At this rate, I hardly ever dilute my nitrates with water changes. Algone is a great product that will REDUCE your nitrate levels and WILL HELP purify your water. what, as they say; If your nitrate levels are off the charts (above 80ppm) then this is not a panacea for you and there are likely other issues with your tank and/or facility.
