Liked it BUT - Grab Bars for Bath & Shower

The first one I received and installed fell apart at the pivot due to a broken plastic nut and when it fell apart my wife was very into it the chest hit tender breasts due to a previous cancer treatment. The second one I got, I loved my first post-op shower, but my wife just walked in and told me the same nut was cracked on this one.

Follow the installation instructions and this product is AWESOME!

easy to install. I installed two of these in my neighbor's tiled shower. Once installed they were VERY strong. I couldn't move them at all. And just told my neighbor to look for green/ok lights and call me immediately if there are any problems or she wants to move them. Great for those in recovery as you can move the bands as the person gets better.

Suction Rods for Bath and Shower

I bought these for an elderly person to install. The other railings were bolted to the studs on the outside of the shower, but I didn't want to drill into the fiberglass shower. Both suction cups came loose within 24 hours of installation. I read online about smearing small drops of petroleum jelly around the edges of the suction cups and this trick worked. Both bars continue to hold and have not yet collapsed. They are easy to install and can be positioned at different angles.

Product defect and no response to customer inquiries

Handrail attaches easily and works well until removed for cleaning. The red indicator did not turn green when trying to reinstall. The indicators were "frozen" in place no matter what you tried. 3 emails sent to customer support "help line" on Ameriluc website ("guaranteed 24 hour response to all customer inquiries") and NO response. Contacted Revain who arranged the refund and apologized for the unacceptable lack of communication with the supplier.

The best suction pens.

My wife recently had a c-section. She needed a little help to use the toilet or take a shower. At first we thought we were installing them temporarily, but they were installed anyway 2 months after our daughter was born. They really work and can support a lot if installed properly. I like indicators that tell you if they are set correctly. Tried three different versions from different manufacturers. Some didn't want to stay on the tiles, some weren't long enough, etc. I found them perfect for…

There is a trick to make it work

This is a positive review but when I first got it I was ready to write a bad one. I solved the problem I had. The indicator dot that changes color from red to green when the sucking resumes (a potentially awesome and reassuring feature) wasn't working all the time. While the right suction moves up to 90% green, the left moves only up to about 25% and sometimes up to 10% green or not at all. And yet it endured. I tried different places and the indicator deviation remained constant. The right one
