My first project was a fireplace box for an electric fireplace. I had to join the 8” boards. The biscuit joiner worked just right.

I purchased this for one project. I rarely do biscuit jointing, so i didn't want to spring for a Dewalt or Milwaukee. However, as with most tools, you get what you pay for. The guide is out of square and not fixable. It's not terrible, but at about 1/16th to 1/32nd of an inch from left to right, it's enough to cause the joints to not be flush. It's pretty annoying for this project, causing me to do far more sanding than I would if I had just used dowels (or no joint reinforcement at all).On the

It will do the job. However I had to clamp it on to keep strait cuts.It is just not a precision machine. If I needed it for day to day production i would spend the more on name brand. My advise is to practice on scrap several times to get it diled in.

For virtually half the price of any big brand biscuit joiner, this thing does an excellent job. The blade cuts smooth and consistent. The adjustments are simple and the provided biscuits work well. The only real knock on the tool is that it is pretty loud. If you don’t want to spend $160+ on a DeWalt or other name brand, this serves its purpose if you are doing DIY or only need it once and a while.

Didn't receive any Biscuits with my order as described in the listing. The Joiner works great but I lost a couple of hours working time to find the biscuits locally that I thought was to be included.

The removable fence sits crooked on the base of the tool. It may not look like much from the picture, but it would never cut plumb or square, rendering the tool useless. Currently requesting a replacement, will come back and update the review if the replacement has better quality control.

My dad had one of these for years, I always liked dowel pins. Until now, this saves time and money. Sturdy tool, built well.

I started using the tool to assemble countertops with 2x6's and this work's great. However, I would highly recommend purchasing a better blade. The factory blade leaves a lot of tear-out in the slots and requires extra time to clean up before moving on. Now I look for reasons to use it!It is easy to use, but if you haven't used one before, watch a YouTube video and practice on scrap wood and play with the different settings.
