The cold press finish has a light texture and is the most common. It reflects light well, retaining the transparent quality of watercolours. A light grain makes it easier to achieve certain details. All Arches papers are cylinder mould made as they have been for over a century. With long fibers, this thick, stable sheet is beautiful, durable, and resillient. Each sheet of Arches Watercolour paper is tub-sized in a bath of pure natural gelatin and then air dried to add additional strength and durability. The best quality control. Our paper undergoes sophisticated testing and monitoring, with every sheet individually inspected to assure the finest quality. Contains TWO blocks with 20 sheets, 300 GSM

HIGH QUALITY WATERCOLOR PAPER

I LOVE ARCHIE'S WATERCOLOR PAPER. HOWEVER, THE BLACK GLUE AROUND THE PAPER PAD IS NOT GIVEN BY INDIVIDUAL SHEETS IN THAT ORDER. I HAD TO FILE THE BLACK EDGES TO REMOVE THE BLACK BORDER FROM THE PAPER. WAS IT WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS?

Each stack comes in a protective sleeve.

I bought two packs for my daughter and she loved them. First, she cut off the top sheet to reveal a stack of sheets (just a stack). Remember to keep them together and draw on the top sheet.

It's expensive, but not the most expensive. Withstands many washes.

I have tried many cheaper papers and none of them have satisfied me. This paper works, holds a lot of water, doesn't crack or warp. I like blocks because I don't have to stretch them. 7 x 10 is enough for me to draw a small picture or separate it with tape to make 2 cards for my online shop. I like to have more than one so I can let one dry while I work on the other.

I will probably not buy this watercolor paper again.

I bought an Arches watercolor paper pad, cold press, 9" x 12", 140 lb pad, 2 pack. This was a new product for me. Looking at him as soon as he arrived I was confused. I was expecting a notebook with 20 sheets of white watercolor paper. What I was holding was a black thing half an inch thick. I was in the process of returning this product and had another look. At the top I found an inch and a half white space. I ran my finger over it to find the individual leaves. I had to rip off the top black…
