It works. it is a cable.

If you want full Thunderbolt 3 speed (40Gbps) on a 6 foot cable, this is the style you need. This is a quality cable from a company that makes quality cables. I have three of these in my setup and they have all proven reliable and work well. The jacket is a bit tacky, but it's made of high quality rubber and is very flexible. The cable connectors are solid and mostly metal in my opinion. Cables are boring until they stop being (when they cause problems). This one is boringly reliable.

Great TB4 TB3 USBC cable at a great price! Finally!

It's getting harder and harder to find a cheap Thunderbolt 3 cable. I took a chance trying to solve these issues using a TB4 cable and a backwards compatible cable to connect a 35" curved x2 ultrawide monitor and I have to say it works flawlessly. Wakes up my system by touching the keyboard. Build quality is solid yet nimble. I highly recommend these cables. price / quality? You won't hit him

Finally! 6 foot Thunderbolt cable

It took me a while to find a 6 foot cable that would both charge my laptop and drive an external monitor. But now that I've found that I'm very happy with it. It's just a cable so not much to say about it but the build quality seems good enough and I haven't had any issues with it. I'm very careful with this as other Thunderbolt cables I've had have worn so much over time that they no longer work. Since this cable isn't cheap, I really don't want to spoil it.

Expensive but genuine

If you have a Cintiq Pro and suffer from flickering and occasional signal loss every few seconds, 3D print a special jack holder so small movements don't disturb the plug or your cable won't work with it, though it is advertised as compatible with 40 Gbps and DisplayPort bandwidth, this cable will solve all your problems. I just need a USB-C cable that works with my tablet and is longer than a few feet! Turns out that was asking a lot. Don't be like me and spend big bucks on cheaper optionsโ€ฆ

Expensive but genuine

If you have a Cintiq Pro and suffer from flickering and occasional signal loss every few seconds, 3D print a special connector holder to prevent the slightest movement from interfering with the connector or if your cable doesn't work with it even though it's advertised as 40Gb/s compatible with DisplayPort pass-through, this cable will solve all your problems. Functional Active Cable

This is the first active Thunderbolt cable I've been able to use with a Thunderbolt dock that I haven't had intermittent video problems and loss of connectivity. I am using a Lenovo Thunderbolt 3 Gen Dock. 2 and tested with several different laptops - ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 2, ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 and Dell Latitude 7390 2-in-1. Previously the longest cables I could get to work properly were 0.8m Apple TB3 and 0.7m Lenovo TB3. Several active cables I've tried have given me problems. After seeing

The Caldigit USB-C Dock is not fully supported!

I bought this active cable to use with my Caldigit TB3/USB-C Pro docking station (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VL675DT/ref= ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title ?ie =UTF8&psc=1) connected to a power supply AND an FHD DUAL MONITOR. I use this dock frequently with my Macbook Air 2020 via TB3 and also with my Surface Pro 7 via USB-C. The cable supports both TB3 and USB-C at full bandwidth. Connecting the cable to the dock and my Macbook Air via TB3 works fine with dual monitors. However, when Iโ€ฆ

I ordered this cable to connect my M1 Mac mini 2020 to CalDigit USB4 Element Hub. While waiting I decided to use this 2m cable with my 2017 MacBook Retina. As many people know, this laptop only has one USB 3.1 Gen 1 5Gbps port. Previously, Thunderbolt cables > 0.8 m could only support USB 2.0 or 480 Mbit/s. I connected my ACASIS Thunderbolt enclosure with a 1TB WD Black SN750 inside. Incredibly, this combination achieved >400MB/s with Cable Matters TB4, which is much more than you wouldโ€ฆ
