It will break within a year and the support service will not reply!

I have had this part for less than a year and it started to fail when towing a trailer. I only use the 4 pin connector and have never connected anything to the 7 pin. When I figured out why it wasn't working properly, I noticed that the 7-pin connector was corroded and connected between two pins. When I tried to clean the corrosion with baking soda mixed with water and a soft bristle brush, one of the 7 pin pins broke. I was very careful about cleaning and knew I had to do it as I had a trailer

Connector not working

Installation went very smoothly, installed on a Chevy Silverado which mated perfectly with the factory wiring harness. Couldn't use the bracket provided but installed the connector in the bumper into the existing connector mounting hole but left no room for the 4 pin connector. No major issues, 1. I'm not using a 4-pin connector and 2. I routed a 4-pin connector between the bumper and tailgate so it can be used. then there were problems: once i connected my trailer to either left or right, or…

Not the easiest task to install the mount but other than that everything is fine!

Awesome! This was the easiest job I've ever done! (That means I had NO wiring to do as this unit came with a new US trailer light plug that just plugs in.) It took me a while to figure out where the plug actually was on the truck - as it turns out it's right there, on the back of the connector on the old trailer light, so I had to pry it off and snap it onto the new connector (on the end of the cable that came with it). Didn't have plug and play

I ordered this for my 2000 Ford F-250 Super Duty at the same time I ordered a Reese hitch for it. My truck originally only had a 4 pin connector so I figured this would allow me to keep the 4 pin and then get the functionality of the 7 pin as well. Both products arrived the same day so I installed the bracket for it on a Reese hitch before installing it on the truck and immediately realized you only have 4 bolts when there is room for 6 (2 to attach the bracket on the trailer hitch or vehicle),
