This is definitely not the industry standard. This is the slowest thermometer ever. Additionally, you have to hit the button just right to get it to turn on. The display, is 80s technology. I was contacted by Inovation, they asked how I liked the thermometer. I was told, to take it up with ebay since, that is where I purchased it. So the company knows about the issues, I’d look elsewhere.

This is easy to use and seemingly accurate. A bit of an off taste to me, but that is common among these units with a flexible stem.

This thermometer is good quality and accurate. The flexible end is comfortable in the mouth as long as you hold the other end. Love the case it comes in. I like that it has a smiley face indicator to let you know whether the temperature taken is in a healthy range. The alarm that plays when you are not in a healthy range is a little.much. Overall it is a good oral thermometer to have around!

I found the flimsy tip hard to hold under the tongue. If u put it under tongue u have to hold with your hand cause it is too heavy. If u have a child do it they would drop it out on the floor. Takes good temp but for as flimsy I think it should be instant read not 20 seconds

Wildly inaccurate readings when we needed to use it the most.Temps would greatly fluctuate within a matter of two minute intervals making the readings seem unreliable. For example, one minute, the thermometer would read 99.5 then a few minutes later after getting the thermometer to its base temp it would read 102.5. This is accurate and easy to use. Does the job.until the battery needs replacing. It says to remove the screw on the back which you can barely see it's so small. I don't know who would have a phillips screwdriver that small. I've had ones for eyeglasses that are small and this is smaller. I guess when the batter dies I'll be buying a new thermometer!

I needed a thermometer that worked and worked pretty fast. I’ve had several others that haven’t worked, so I was skeptical on this one. But, this one works great 95% of the time. The only time it gave a low reading was when the thermometer was really cold, so I just put it in my mouth for 20 seconds before turning it on, and that worked great. It comes with a nice carrying case and it has a flexible tip which is nice for kids. It’s easy to read also.

By the time I realized that I was using the thermometer properly, I was disappointed that the promised "beep" never sounded. Pressing the start button is labor-intensive and not for elders with a weak grip. One could do better. Ignore ebay's recommendation.

I found the device very easy to use. However, it does not appear to be very accurate nor consistent. This thermometer does what it advertises. It has been accurate in its readings so far for me. It does not have any remarkable features but there is no need for that when you just want a basic functioning thermometer. It does have a flexible tip that will make it slightly easier for rectal use if you have an infant.

Nice design, light weight and easy to use. You don't need to even read the instructions to figure it out but the instructions are simple if you do. Seemed to be accurate. Only annoying thing with it is that it beeps 10 times when your temperature is ready whereas one long beep would be sufficient.

When I received the thermometer, it wasn't working. Not sure if it was just a defective product or if it was a battery issue. However, being brand new, it should work.

This thermometer seemed very accurate. We were using another thermometer and it was always 1.5 -2 degrees lower than this one. When comparing to a physicians office thermometer we found the IProven one to be the accurate one. W/o a mercury thermometer for comparison, it's difficult to assess its accuracy. Still, it matches with a similar thermometer. It's easy to use.

As far as I can tell it’s accurate. Does not come with any of those covers u use for each person. Not sure how those covers affect the accuracy. The digital display has a lot going on. Need to save the instructions. With multiple users the re-teach is a pain. I would opt for one which just takes the temp and that’s that. The fancy mess complicated things. When u feel bad u don’t want to have to go find your reading glasses to read the instructions.

This thermometer is accurate and fast. It comes with a nice little hard plastic case and understandable instructions. It has a one year warranty, but you can extend that for free by going to their website and registering it.Hint* if you have older ears, don't rely exclusively on the beep. It is really high pitched and I could not hear it. The younger members of my family had no trouble at all with it.
