Arrived on time as are all my priority orders. The installation took about five minutes with my mother's help, after all it was her car that she needed. She has driven a Lexus for years and uses a stick to hold the hood up! Rschunimagu

threw them in Camry (Toyota). Still working perfectly after months. The pressure is a little higher than necessary, but it takes a little more force to lower the hood. I use lithium grease on the pivot points so I don't have to grease them every few weeks. These are the four areas that need lubrication. A good buy.

saved literally hundreds and it was so easy to install. The other day old hinges almost blew my head off. They're working great so far. Definitely has a lot of pressure so it may take a while for them to break but for now they are working GREAT. They worked great and were very easy to install. Lexus charged $180 for these parts. At first I tried prying the old ones open with a screwdriver but it didn't work. I then looked at the new ones and saw that the spring clip holding them has a slot for a screwdriver and it took me 5 seconds to remove the clip and remove the old posts.

The product seems to be well made. Arrived quickly but without instructions. I found helpful instructions on YouTube. I'm not sure if they're just missing or not meant to be included. Ease of use, quality and functionality would have been 5 stars if instructions were included as it took an extra hour to figure everything out. Once you understand the concept, it's easy to do.

I had to use a small screwdriver to partially remove the clips to remove the old jacks. It all took about 10 minutes. Shipping was much quicker than expected and no damage was received. It took me 4 minutes to remove the old hood stays and install the new ones on my Lexus ES350 thanks to a youtube video I watched before installing. They work very well but have some resistance when closing the hood, which isn't a big deal given the price and ease of installation. I think they will get better over time.
