Good stuff but damn overpriced!

First of all I would like to say that this is definitely a practical thing and there is nothing wrong with the quality of the product. But it is WAY overpriced and unfortunately I didn't find out until I checked my local store. I can buy a 4.5 gallon bucket for the same price as one of those tiny buckets.

Pretty wet. Dries forever

3 stars. I haven't worked with drywall that much, so take my opinion with a grain of plaster. I've used other seam sealers in the past and it wasn't as wet and messy as this stuff. Also, it didn't take a good 24 hours to dry like this material. Finally, in places where I've applied it a little thickly (not too thickly, i.e. wrongly) this material actually cracks when it dries out, like a dry river bed. I'll try a different brand next time I need to fix drywall. . Replies are welcome if anyone…

Great sealer but not a liter

This sealer gives results better than any similar product I've used in years of tireless DIY projects. Structural integrity is excellent. Drying time can be an issue when time is of the essence for a renovation project, as a good 24 hour interval between coats is required. One final note: at the time of purchase and posting of the review, the product description and photo lists a liter of compound while the resulting bath is 4 ounces less. I ordered earlier and received a full litre. Due to the

Excellent spread and adhesion to walls

I will be installing Back Splash tiles on the kitchen walls but first the walls need to be cleaned of old adhesive. So I ordered this item. I was surprised that the lid on this thing didn't have some sort of safety feature to keep the lid from coming off. However, the cement had the right consistency. It spreads fairly easily and you can work with it for a few minutes while it's hanging on the wall, so there's not much rush but just think of the time it takes to dry. I have not noticed any…

My go-to place for mud/sheetrock projects

This is a wave of products I'm not sure about, I can always trust Sheetrock JC (seam joint). I've been buying this for years and always stick with the green container for my needs. This latest project required no earthwork but filled gaps along the top of the drywall edge in the basement from about 1/8" to 3/4" at the largest point. 1/4' and fills up easily with no tape and doesn't crack after 2 weeks (I left them on for that time to see if they would hold up). Based on past experience…

Also suitable for beginners

I needed to fix a hole in my bedroom wall. At 74, I'm not afraid of small DIY projects. This one looked easy enough and this product did the job. It took a little longer to dry than I thought, but that might be because I used more than I probably need for the first round of mesh patch coverage. After sanding and applying putty everything was fine. The reason I took off a star is because the case was about 90% open when I received it. Yes, the container was in the plastic, but when I removed the

Used to fill holes left by large drywall anchors

I wanted to buy this to fill holes left by removing drywall anchors. I then decided to google the experts to see what was most relevant. Construction professionals have found that this product is not ideal for filling anchor holes in drywall due to the fact that clay within drywall shrinks. I've looked at some DIY projects on YouTube and they all say that clay shrinks in a drywall, so don't use it to fill holes left by removing drywall anchors. The putty was recommended. I bought Red Devil…
