These do just fine sunny boy.

These are the cats hasss. The come a wee bit dull but I’ve had them for over two years ( never sharpened them) and they work grrrrreat! I use and abuse the heck out these lil guys. I cut 600s (copper) with them about 40 times , 500s probably around the same maybe more and they still work like they always have. My work dad talks trash about them but he’s just mad he spent 200 $ or more on his big bulky pair that give me the carpel tunnel and mine just keep on keeping kippininin

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Is hard to ratchet

CAN'T CUT fine-wire CABLE

Tried 2 of these cutters, but they fail to cut the last several strands of the 4/0 cable I use for Solar batteries. The cutting jaws start to spread apart about 95% of the way through the cable, then just smash the remaining few wires flat, but never cuts them, even with repeated tries. Junk tool. I bought a Klien(made in USA) cable cutter for about the same price, and it cuts all the way through, LIKE BUTTAH'! Don't waste your time, you'll just have to send it back

Pros
  • The jaws open up wide enough to cut items as large as 2" in diameter.
Cons
  • Latch mechanism often gets stuck

Worth the money best in my review

I'm an electrician and love these things. Almost as much as my other crew member who uses them more than I do and lost my last pair

Pros
  • I work on powerlines so far so good this item from a power supply store is 165 bucks
Cons
  • Difficult to use for individuals with smaller hands

Great Cutter. Recommend Sharpening

This is a great, cutter, but for cutting stranded wire, recommend filing the cutting edge first as they arrive a bit dull.

Pros
  • Works great for cutting cables. Fine wires do leave a few strands that have to be clipped.
Cons
  • Bulky design makes it difficult to maneuver in tight spaces

It cuts well in my review

I like the tool generally. I am removing a lot of electrical wire through out a house that is being renovated. The one aspect that I am uncomfortable with is the release for resetting the cutting blade. Once you have made a cut, to return the cutting blade it its original position. There is a button to depress. It is very hard to depress that button sufficiently in order to return the blade to its original cutting position.

Pros
  • Great for the price.
Cons
  • Can only cut one wire at a time

Cheap and do the job in the first time

I love this ratchet cutter.I have been use it for my work cutting a lot of big LSTSGU-400 and no problem at all.No complaint for the prize.I will buy again for the next one

Pros
  • Great product works amazing I can't belive how cheap it is
Cons
  • Made kinda cheap

Revainrating 5 out of 5

As good as the more expensive ones

Tool has held up surprisingly well I've got a bunch of cable with it then a lot of 220 wiring with it and it's still hanging in there great if it dies I would buy another one

Pros
  • great tool
Cons
  • Not suitable for left-handed individuals

This thing cuts!: my feedback

It's not professional quality but I used it for 2/0 cable and it cut through it with ease. I probably made 100 cuts while doing an electrical install on my conversion van and it worked as intended. I cut wire guage from 2/0 all the way up to 12 awg and it held up just fine. However, if you were using this tool daily for your job then I would get one made of a stronger material but for an armature it will be everything you ever needed.

Pros
  • Cutting service entry cable for electrical work.
Cons
  • May require multiple attempts to make a clean cut

Cheap quality, no response, no support

Ratchet return spring sheared off cutting ser cable for units. Item broke after 82 cuts while making up unit meters.I messaged company about issue 2 times without a response back trying to ask about a warranty or a replacement return spring.I gave up and returned product. Cheap quality, no support and no warranty. Definitely not worth 30 dollars. Cheap china garbage.

Pros
  • Cuts metal as well with ease
Cons
  • Blades can chip or break with improper use

Buy these and put them in your bag!

These ratchet cutters are great. They are sharp and come pre-oiled. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth and well manufactured. Also, the company will find a public place and dance in your honor with each review. They literally sent that in an email and I have no doubt they will uphold their end of the deal.

Pros
  • M gusta mucho les agredesco x sus productos muy buenos
Cons
  • Blade alignment issues can cause uneven cuts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Larger than expected

5/5 stars, cheap and work great. I'm an electrician and use these almost daily. I cut 4/0, 4/0,4/0, 2/0 (200 amp - 4 wire conductor) awg consistantly. Used about a month now, still sharp, strong ratchet system

Pros
  • This cut the big (and small) stuff. No problem.
Cons
  • Me falta usarla un tiempo para poder calificar la durabilidad de las cuchillas y sus componentes!

Oh its horrible best in my review

Its horrible for what it is advertised to do. Not worth the trouble. The ratchet mechanism jams, and the cutting blade would not cut butter.

Pros
  • The heavy-duty ratcheting cable cutters are incredibly durable and can easily handle challenging cutting tasks, making them the perfect tool for electricians and DIY enthusiasts alike
Cons
  • Limited warranty offered

binds most of the time

sometimes it will make a perfect cut but at least 50% of the time, it will bind and is very difficult to get loose when the copper fibers get stuck between the cutting ends. Will be returning.

Pros
  • They work like a champ!
Cons
  • Does not come with a protective case for storage

Amazed at the quality

I have been doing commercial electric work for almost 40 years , and these work just as well as any Klein's on the market. My first use was cutting 3-3-3 copper ser cable they worked perfectly

Pros
  • No issues
Cons
  • They broke on the first use out of my thirty day window so I’m stuck with them

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great on my review.

We have several pairs of these and have had no problem with any of them. They work as well as the brand name cutters. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • Very easy to cut through 4 awg and bigger wire with just with 1 hand even in tight spaces
Cons
  • Requires frequent sharpening to maintain effectiveness

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worth every penny in my review

These do not disappoint. I have used them for everything from 8awg to a bundle of 30 10awg to even 750 mcm and they work flawlessly. They might even be as good as the $200 Greenlee’s my coworker bought.

Pros
  • I've own expensive cutters that didn't last long but the are at a great price and are better...
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other wire cutters on the market

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well worth the money.

These cable cutters are a must have if you are cutting Telcom cables. In the video you can see I'm easily cutting through x2 200/24 cables at once.I Had to start using 2 hands by the time I made the video because I had already done about 50 cuts.

Pros
  • Very nice tool a lot of guys work like it and use it
Cons
  • Cannot cut through certain types of cables, such as steel cables

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ratchet Cable Cutting

The only thing I can find bad is that the ratchet is only 1 click at a time resulting in 30-40 ratchets. Would be much better if you could get 2 or 3 clicks at a time.

Pros
  • If you watch "Forged in Fire", you will get it.
Cons
  • Handle coverings can become loose with frequent use

Great bargain - my new review

I cut 10/4 wire roughly 50 times per day and a pair will last me about 6 months before the blade becomes too dull. That's a LOT of cuts for the money. Highly recommend

Pros
  • My husband used this very often for 3 months before it broke. Easy to use but not durable.
Cons
  • Hard to remove if you need to readjust or position.
