Fixed connection to the drain under the sink!

I wasn't sure if this thing would work, but I'm damn impressed! Use gloves. You don't want it on your fingers. Once it dries, the smell will disappear completely. I used this for something a bit unorthodox: the drain under our kitchen sink started leaking where the dishwasher drain connects to it (metal is very prone to corrosion due to our hard water). I thought I could temporarily patch it with duct tape, but touching it actually almost completely broke the connection! I know the correct…

Pros
  • SURFACE APPLICATIONS: Iron and stainless steel, copper and brass, aluminum and bronze, fiberglass, plastic and PVC.
Cons
  • boring packaging

Fixed hot tub leak (using 3 JB WaterWeld wands at a time)

Fixed a leak in the back of the whirlpool jet for a Whirlpool brand hot tub. I highly recommend JB WaterWeld; it worked great. To fix the leak, wearing nitrile gloves, I mixed 3 sticks at a time and then formed them into a rope shape with my bare hands and then pressed a ring around the back of the leaking nozzle. I let it sit for 24 hours (the pack says 1 hour but I gave 24 hours to be sure) and the leak was fixed. Remember to (1) mix thoroughly with gloves on for about 2 minutes until color…

Pros
  • CURING AND CURING TIME: WaterWeld takes 25 minutes to cure after hand mixing the 2 part formula and cures in 1 hour. JB Weld WaterWeld is cured and the curing color is off-white.
Cons
  • Not the best

Fantastic when used correctly!

This is an excellent product when used as directed. If this isn't working for you, I encourage you to reconsider your approach. Why should I say that? I had to fix several active leaks in plumbing that looked like an outdoor fire hydrant (we bought the house a few years ago and that's how the outdoor water supply was designed). There are several active leaks in the block. The water pressure comes directly from the main water supply. Leaks were on the order of 1/16 inch holes (like a mini faucet
