got a job in switches and relays

They do not have the same reliable feedback as the original and 1 did not work. But I only needed 1. Guess you get what you pay for. Only $10 more in the auto zone but Revain was more convenient in terms of price, gas, wear and time lol.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons

Fits 2013 Honda Pilot Touring

Update: One of the switches failed after the first day of installation. I contacted the seller who sent me two new units free of charge. Reinstalled and works perfectly. The support reacted quickly and sent new switches. Highly recommended. Although the product description doesn't list a 2013 or newer Honda Pilot, I can confirm that it will fit the 2013 Honda Pilot Touring. The exchange took less than 10 minutes.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Good but not great

The map marker now lights up when the door is open.

These switches solved an issue where my card backlight would not light up when unlocking the car or opening the door. The car is a 2007 Honda Accord EX four-door sedan. I'm happy for that. The only complaint I have is that one of them seems to stick when I try to turn the light on and off, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I could take them both off and send them back for another set, but it's about 14 degrees here right now, so I'm not really inclined to do that.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Unreliable

Great DIY solution that saved me a lot of money!

My 2012 Honda Odyssey top courtesy light stopped coming on when the door was opened. However, it still turns on manually when pressed. Both bulbs worked perfectly. The local body shop wanted to charge me $85 just for a diagnostic check before attempting a repair that could have cost a lot more money. So I searched YouTube for about 10 minutes for DIY videos on the subject and found out how to solve this exact problem and which part to buy from Revain. For just a few dollars, a screwdriver, andโ€ฆ

PRODUCT WORKS FOR VEHICLES NOT LISTED. WORKS ON MY HONDA ODYSSEY 06.

My car wasn't listed as the car these switches will fit but after a search on YouTube I found 1 review from Lonestar stating that its Honda Pilot didn't when the car was listed for these switches to fit, but he tried and they worked. I called the theft and they told me I would have to buy an entire "base assembly" which is the entire plastic base containing these switches (which are the only electrical components in the base) and that they are not sold separately were $109 worth of theft. So Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Not bad

Brief overview. It took about 15 minutes to pull out the old switches and replace them with new ones. Long story. Initial problem: Neither of the card's two dome lights came on when the door was opened, but they did when the plastic lens was lifted. I've spent many hours investigating the problem. YouTube was particularly helpful in diagnosing the problem and demonstrating the process of replacing the faulty part, the tie switches. I thought the local Honda dealer would supply the switchesโ€ฆ
