The best scrub I've ever had.

I like the idea of a ceramic cleaner because metal cleaners rust easily. A few years ago I brought a Kyocera ceramic cleaner and didn't like it because it jammed too easily and ended up going back to a metal cleaner. I can't stand metal cleaner rust lately and I hope that the Kyocera Ceramic Peeler technology will improve after so many years. I brought this one with me hoping that it seems to be the best of the Kyocera Ceramic Peeler and maybe better. Been using it for a few weeks, works great.

Fantastic scrub. especially for a multi-hand household.

There are left and right handers in our house, everyone cooks and/or helps in the kitchen. The ergonomics of this knife are excellent. Aside from the flexibility of different blade orientations, the knife itself works really well. The only negative I can see is that sometimes a hard skin (e.g. a sweet potato) can cause the blade to shift. light enough to put the blade back in the holder. Like this product, we gave each of our children stockings this Christmas.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Upgrade available

I think we've all had sore hands from dollar store cleaners! Just when you thought there wasn't a better alternative, this thing broke into my life! Every friend who came to my house was just as excited as I was when I first used this knife. Tilt, swivel, adjust, etc. it peels off! Also, it's a ceramic blade, so use it only for veggies for now. Vegetables don't fade or brown! Forget the price tag. You will never buy another knife in your life! And your arm doesn't hurt!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Something different

Approach the ceramic cleaner.

Ceramic peeler? Why not a metal peeler? Sharpening a metal vegetable peeler is no easy task. This company uses ceramics and heavy space travel. Construction and a number of other fields, when dealing with ceramics, can withstand this type of impact. Consider how easily something made from the same ceramic will survive in your kitchen. If your kitchen is like an artist's workshop with bright and varied colors, you can choose a similar color for your peeler. And if you later decide to give…

The dream of carrot peeling comes true!

Every day I peel one to two dozen carrots. I was hoping to find a cleaner that would make the job easier and faster than my old standard stainless steel cleaner. First I bought a similar ceramic knife from another brand and was very disappointed. It cut too deep into the carrots, causing the peeler to keep getting stuck. Its use was tedious and time-consuming, resulting in finely chopped carrots. I used it on a batch of carrots and never wanted to look at it again. I thought about trying…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • bad impression

It was a good idea to have a convertible cleaner for different scenarios. The ceramic blade was very sharp. However, there are three major design flaws. The blade is too thin, much thinner than the older vertical model I've owned for 6 years. It broke after 10 uses (mainly on potatoes and fruits like apples and pears) and within 3 months (maybe 20-30 uses). I have not abused it and have only hand washed with non-scratch tape and Palmolive detergent.2. The blade is only on one side, apparently…

  • Very good value for money

Peels away anything and everything including skin if you're not careful

I bought one of these about 3 or 4 years ago and it's by far one of my most used tools in the kitchen. If you're not careful, everything will be cleaned, including the skin on your finger. However, since all tools are consumables, don't expect an item costing less than twenty dollars to last a lifetime. If the manufacturer made the frame of the blade out of metal, two things would happen; Firstly, the item costs a lot more and secondly, the probability of breakage increases since ceramic is…

Extremely sharp but a little brittle

I actually bought this to replace a friend of mine that I broke from pushing too hard. The ceramic blade is encased in a plastic frame with two small plastic pins connecting it to the main arm. This is a design flaw as these pins can easily break. In addition, the frame extends a little more time for cleaning. Having said all that, I probably didn't have to press as hard. So you can also blame it on user error. In terms of cleanliness, it will far surpass anything you've used in terms of…
