I have not used the products just ordered BUT I have used this product in the past. It works perfectly, be sure to heed the warning about the size of the hole or gap. I used a hair dryer to dry the area before application and also after. I just felt that warm air might help stick better (?)

As you know, replacement pool covers are quite expensive. For this reason, every year we carefully correct our mistakes with the products of this company. We put a patch on top and one on bottom wherever we need to fix it. We have had our lid for about 17 years and it still works very well! Highly recommended.

We had many holes in our Loop-Loc pool cover. These patches worked great and I can barely tell the difference between them and the cover art. We used them before rolling up the lining to pack for the summer. Hopefully the patches will still be intact by fall when we use the liner again. I will update this review as needed.

Bought this to fix a hole in the pool cover. Has been working great for 6 months. No problem. Simply cut a patch large enough to cover the hole on all sides. Be sure to clean both sides of the cover with alcohol. Install the patch on one side and then on the other. Squeeze and the Presto lid fits snugly in the hole. It's a bit pricey but you pay for the quality. VL

When I only patched one side the tear came loose after the first shower. The gap, which I could use with a double-sided patch, remained intact. It's frustrating because they only give you three in one size. So if you have big tears/holes you need to order two packs. This is the first season for these patches, so I now have the only patch that has dip adhesive attached. There is a double-sided sticker on the other hole. I'll update in spring after winter to see if one or both don't work.

When I took out my NEW pool cover this year, I found that the mice liked the makeshift shelter and ate holes in my $2,500 cover. I was glad to know that there is an easy fix. Despite having to put it through the harsh New York state winter, my first month showed no signs of aborting. I would like to add that I found the holes the day the pool was closed and installed the cover before I found this solution. As a result, I was NOT able to install on either side in some places other than the pool…

This summer we saw some big mouse promotions on our cover. We unrolled it and found that a not-so-nice family of mice had settled into the hideout. Lots of small holes and a few big tears from long-term wear. These patches are amazing! To get good adhesion: Make sure the cover is dry and clean (at least the areas you need to patch. Use the patch at the top and bottom of the hole. Cut out a little more than you think you need, to allow the patch to "melt" "smooth" on durable parts of the cover…
